Lets face it, patterned pants can be a little much. If you pair them with the right accessories they can be classy and chic. Adding a plain top (blue was my choice in color), and a bright purse (below in yellow) can make for a great day or night outfit. As March is upon us, patterns, back and white, and bright yellow are all the it "trends" to look out for. This outfit has them all!

Boyfriend jeans are typically thought of as casual due to their baggy fit; however, pair it with the right accessories and you can create a feminine, edgy, and/or classy look!! The outfit on the left is laid back and great for a day of shopping or lunch with friends. The skull tank adds edge and the Sam Edelmen sandals paired Mulberry structured purse add a more feminine touch. The outfit on the right is great for going out to dinner with your boyfriend or even just a happy hour with some co-workers. The Floral blazer is paired with neutral tones to ensure that there is not a color/pattern overload!

This mini skirt can be worn in many different styles. Above are two of my favorite. You can dress it up or dress it down. In the outfit to the left the coral button down shirt makes a more conservative or classy look. Although the shirt is simple it does not take away from the trendiness of the skirt pared with the wedges. The outfit on the right rocks! The tight black cropped top pared with the leather vest is sure to turn heads. Its sexy and edgy which is perfect for a night out with your hot friends. The Jeffrey Campbell booties just finishes the edgy look to perfection. Articles of clothing that can be mixed and matched are great because choosing an outfit is often reflected by the mood you are in.

The Harlem pant can be a tricky item to wear. The pant can actually be worn in may different ways which will enable you to get a lot of use out of them (even if you're like me and only like to wear something once). The first outfit on the left, pair the pants with a cute tribal tank, throw on some open toed shoes and add a pop of color. This gives the pants a causal and chic look that can be worn on a day to day basis, out to lunch, shopping, etc. In the middle, the pant is dressed up for a night out. The silky top with the embellished collar adds class and funk. For a little color, add a fun cross body bag and then throw on a black pump for some sex appeal. Lastly, the super casual but cute look can be great for lounging around with friends, a movie night in with the boyfriend, or traveling. In this case, it gives you the comfort of sweats while still showing off your sense of style. Pare with classic converse and the Marc by Marc Jacobs backpack and you are ready to go!

 I love love lovee this outfit! This fabulous chic look can be worn shopping or out for evening drinks with friends. The color block long sleeve shirt adds color and pop to the outfit. The cutoff white shorts are cute and causal but by dressing them up with the Charles David wedges makes them great for anytime. Pair  the outfit with some cute accessories and you're good to go!
